FAQ

The Pre-primary school along with grades 1 to 5 maintain a five-day week schedule.
Grade 6 to 10 maintains a six-day week schedule.

Pre K and K1: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm [Monday to Friday]
K2 to Grade X : 8:30 am to 3:30 pm [Monday to Friday]
Grade VI to X: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm [Saturday]

AVIN works on three Saturdays of the month for grades 6 to 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 .30 pm

Lunch 12:40p.m. – 1:10 p.m.

No, we do not. Students must bring their own snacks, drinking water and lunch. If the child left his / her Lunch baskets (name/class tagged) at home parents may drop it at the school gate. Parents cannot supervise their ward at school during the meal time!

Except Third Saturday AIS Office works on Saturdays between 9 to 1.00p.m

Fees can be paid in two installments. It can be paid through online or in school office and also through Next Element App.

The school has a system of Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) for smooth interactions after each assessment. Additional parent-faculty meetings if needed a special meeting can be scheduled through a student diary. 

Yes, we do have. Our Counsellor meets students regularly to support them.

Our assessment practices adhere strictly to the examination bye-laws laid out by the CBSE Board. We believe in fair and comprehensive evaluations that provide students with a true reflection of their understanding and progress.
At AIS academic year is divided into two terms, with a balanced mix of Periodic and Summative Assessments for overall development of the students. It also includes project work and creative assignments.

Our ‘Appraisements of Accomplishments,’ or report cards, are presented online through App. This ensures timely and transparent communication with parents at the end of each term. We believe in providing a comprehensive overview of their child’s academic journey.

Homework/assignments/projects are given in rotation through out the week. They are noted in the school almanac and parents must acknowledge through a signature. 

We have Student Council, comprising of elected student leaders every year. They are provided experiential leadership training during all the school events. There are leadership roles for Head Girl, Head Boy, Sports Captains, and House Captains for all the four Houses.

Football, Throw ball, Volley ball, Kho Kho and table tennis classes are part of the programmes. An annual Sports Day for all levels, will be conducted regularly.

All levels have an average of 6 P.E. classes each week.

Yes. At AIS we have a dedicated space where students can rest or recover when they need medical attention. We provide first aid and at the time of emergency we intimate the parents/ guardians about it.

Pre K to K 2 has two sets of uniforms:
Pink T-Shirt and Blue Trousers on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Orange T-Shirt and White Trousers on Wednesdays
Grade I – X
White Shirt and Grey Trouser [Boys], Grey Skirt [Girls] on Tuesday, Thursday Friday and Saturday
House uniform on Monday & Wednesday

While we guarantee that a seat will be available for your child on each instructional school day, it is entirely at your own discretion how often the service is utilized.

Refunds or reduction of bus fees for service days not used are not possible, though.

Yes, it is mandatory. The drivers will travel along their given route and will take those on board that it will save the time instead of waiting at the stop.

When planning to move please contact the Transportation in charge with the address you are interested in order to check bussing / seating availability beforehand. Bus routes and bus sizes are planned during the summer for the school year ahead. It may not be possible to accommodate new locations at a later point during the school year. When bus availability has been confirmed, please indicate your planned moving date so that seating can be pre-reserved. Please inform the Transportation in charge about your definite move about one week before so that passenger list can be updated

We have four houses named after precious Gems deriving its name from Sanskrit

● Green-Pruthvi
● Blue- Jal
● Yellow-Vayu

Collaborative activities play an important role for the holistic development of a child. Keeping the same in the mind we have created Clubs from Grade I – X .A student can select any one club in this session, it is compulsory for every student to be a part of any one club and actively participate in the club activity that may enhance their social, creative, artistic, vocabulary, and linguistic skills.

At AIS we have the following clubs:
Eco club, literary club, Interact club, Digital club, Eureka Club, Press Club and Ted .Ed club.
